Should I try Shimarz! if I have sensitive skin?
If you know that you have very sensitive skin, I recommend that before you try Shimarz products, take the list of our ingredients to your doctor and make sure you’re not allergic to any of them.
Then if you decide to give our products a go, test them first! Apply a little to your wrist or behind your knee before putting any on your face to make sure you don’t have a reaction.

Which Shimarz Product should I try first?

We really recommend our Liquid Foundation and Concealer first. Hundreds of our customers love the Liquid Foundation. In fact they love all our products!
What is the cost of shipping, and why?
Flat rate shipping is $6.00 for anywhere inside the continental United States and is available for any shipment under 1lb. This flat rate shipping generally takes between 8-10 business days.
For faster shipping of shipments weighing under 1lb, we also offer priority shipping for $10.00, which generally takes between 3-5 business days.
For even faster shipping of shipments weighing under 1lb, we also offer priority shipping for $17.00, which generally takes between 1-2 business days.
Many customers ask why we charge these amounts, and our answer is simple: We charge exactly what is charged to us. We never add any additional fees for shipping.
We use a shipping company that guarantees on time delivery and allows you to track both shipment options. We chose this company for their fantastic service, because how they treat our customers matters to us.

Is Shimarz sold in any retail stores?
Shimarz is not sold in any retail stores. We are an ecommerce business, and our products are only available online in the SHIMARZ Store.

Are your products animal tested, or do they contain any harmful ingredients?
We guarantee that none of our products or any of the ingredients in our products have been animal tested.
Our products are gluten free and we use no GMO ingredients. They also contain no phthalates, parabens, binders or added ingredients.
Do you auto-ship products or offer any subscription?
We do NOT auto-ship, and we do NOT offer any subscriptions.
If you want Shimarz products, just come to the Shimarz store and order them.
You will only receive what you intentionally ordered, and nothing extra. Ever!
Do you ship internationally?
At the moment we do not. We only sell in USA.

Are our products tested for Lead?
All minerals (Titanium Dioxide, Iron Oxides, Zinc Oxide and Mica) used in Shimarz cosmetic products are completely tested for Cadmium, Antimony, Arsenic, Lead and Mercury. Thus, customers can rest confident that our products do not contain heavy metals in any detectable amounts.
What does "[+/- May Contain]: Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891) Zinc Oxide (CI 77947), Iron Oxides (CI 77491, 77492, 77499" mean in your ingredient labels?
Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891) Zinc Oxide (CI 77947) and Iron Oxides (CI77491, 77492, 77499) are colorants that are also providing sun protection.
Some natural lines use fruit based pigments for color, however our feeling (as well as many other natural lines), is that this does not offer a rich enough pigment for our shades. Our pigments are minerals. Minerals are found in nature, naturally occurring from earth and purified in a lab before use.
Our products contain between 1 - 9% depending on the shade.
All the above minerals are natural.
How do I get my refund?
We have a great refund policy as you have seen on all our product pages. These guarantees are:
CORRECT SHADE GUARANTEE: Ordered the wrong shade, let us know by email and we will send you the correct shade at NO cost to you. NO need to return the wrong shade back to us.
30 DAYS GUARANTEE: Bad Formula, Broken Bottle/Case, Faulty Product? Let us know by email and we will send you a replacement at NO cost to you. OR if you don't like it for whatever reason, we'll refund you every penny.
NOW YOU HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE: To save you even more hassle, you will NOT be required to return it back to us to get your refund. We did this to save you the stress, your precious time and extra return postage costs. let us know by email and we will refund you. This is just to say thank you for trying our products.
